Pedrera de Son Real IIb

These quarries, used for the extraction of sandstone, extended right to the seashore, and part of them has since been submerged. According to oral accounts, they were suddenly abandoned during the Spanish Civil War. As a result, traditional extraction techniques can still be observed, together with the remains of structures such as huts, giving the site considerable ethnological value.
