This beach is just 2 km from the tourist center of Can Picafort, on the large bay of Alcúdia. This unspoiled beach is also known as the Ses Assussenes (Lilies), because white lilies grow on the sand.
The beach is located between Punta Llarga de Son Real and Punta des Patró, and is part of a protected area. If you love long walks by the sea, this beach is your destination. The beaches are lined up on this coastal section as far as the eye can see. They will fulfill your desire for untouched nature and you will feel accompanied by the sound of the waves and the breeze. In the back part of the beach you will see an important dune system on which a forest of pines, juniper and low bushes has struck its root. The sandy shore slowly passes into the water and is often covered by Posidonia remains. It is a sea plant that blooms, bears fruit and forms large sea grass meadows under the water surface.
This area, which has been inhabited since prehistory, is rich in archaeological finds, which will surprise you, as due to the necropolis of Son Real, which has been surrounded by the surf for centuries.
